I sat down to write this yesterday, which was Valentine’s Day of 2020, the perfect opportunity to talk about the love that these two have for each other. As often happens when I raise my fingers to type, however, my mind went blank and I felt like I was just regurgitating the expected prose. Today I’ve only been up for an hour so far (making the most of a Saturday lie-in before the wedding season begins) and the pistons firing in my brain are a little more active.
Dan first got in touch with me after seeing Sam & Lew’s wedding images from their London wedding at The Aslyum and All Star Lanes, having known Sam from working with her years before. We had a great first phone call, connecting over stories of our boys (L&D have two gorgeous sons) and all things ‘cool’. They set a date and we called it official. Meeting up with them I could tell instantly that their wedding was going to be super stylish… you know those couples that ought to be ‘influencers’ but are actually f***ing amazing people so haven’t gone down that road? Yeah, that’s them.
You can see from the images below just how incredible the aesthetics of this wedding were. They chose 131 The Promenade in Cheltenham for the majority of their celebrations and despite it being the hottest day of the year, we smashed it. I’m personally so thrilled with this collection and I know Dan & Liv were too.
