You know when you meet one of those couples that you just absolutely ‘click’ with? They understand where you’re coming from, they buy into your artistic wedding photography philosophy, they trust you. Samara & Richie were one of those couples. I have a massive not so secret girl bride crush on Samara and I’ve never before had a groom tell me at the end of the wedding that he’d be hooked to my Facebook page for the previews. That’s something special.
They also did it totally their way. Married in Richie’s Nan’s back garden; where his parents and then he and his sister played when they were little. They stood up prints of their favourites lyrics against old barrels, Richie gave Samara the LP’s of their favourite 3 songs as a present. Samara wore dress designed back in Aus (Grace Loves Lace), where she is from. Mix all of that in with a handful of guests and a day full of emotion – both crying and laughter. My kind of do.
Here is their story.
