I have a handful of weddings from twenty eighteen left to blog and the words for this one have been on the tip of my tongue for months. I’ve almost been tripping over myself to get my thoughts about it down on paper.
That is, until I’ve come to actually write it. Typically I’m staring at the screen just writing anything to try and inspire some semblance of a well thought out recollection.
Let’s just say this; when the night ends by you drinking wine from a bridesmaids cleavage, it was a bloody good wedding. And no, I haven’t included that image in this blog.
Fforest is my soul home. I hadn’t visited since they renovated the Farmhouse and I definitely recall spending the first twenty minutes wandering round each room just speechless. It’s the right amount of rustic in aesthetic, but completed physically with absolute excellence. There isn’t one single other place in the UK where I just feel like it’s a bit of me. A close second would be Crear in Scotland.
Needless to say, I was ecstatically thrilled that J&R booked me to document their wedding back in October.
Words from the couple: “Where do we start? Claudia, you were absolutely amazing and we cannot thank you enough. You are more than a photographer! You helped keep us (the bride in particular) so calm the night before the wedding and helped steer us in the right direction when we weren’t sure of the final touches. We would’ve been lost without you.
Your style of photography is just so wonderful and relaxed which really means you get some great candid shots. You fitted in so seamlessly to the day (to the point where people thought you were a best friend of the brides and were asking how we had met!) and helped put everyone at ease.
We wish we could do it all over again with you.
Thank you so so much, we will cherish the photos forever.
Rhys and Janey X”
