I have to mention, before anything else, that Katie is an incredible stylist. Her wedding to Nathan was immaculately planned – almost designed – with beauty in mind. From the chic bow tie around Nathan’s neck, to the wood panelling in the room they chose to get married in, to (both!) Katie’s incredible dresses and also, actually, the way that they both hold theirselves. With total confidence.
Can I sum it up in words? Sure, although I’m inarticulate in the subject of fashion: Elegant Audrey Hepburn meets 1920s prohibition America with a little bit of Mad Men thrown in.
It’s always a topic of slight controversy, elopements. Will we upset the family. Where will we go? What should we do? And, choosing a photographer to spend all day with just the two of you, now THAT’S a decision. I am truly honoured that Katie & Nathan chose me. It really was, and I don’t say this lightly, one of the highlights of my wedding photography career. Thank you, you two.
