Wedding Photography Pricing
There’s always a debate in wedding photography Facebook groups as to whether we should have our pricing on the website in an ‘obvious’ sense as we really want to get the connection with our couples on the phone before we hit them with the figures. I understand that totally, given that my whole ethos of my approach is to build strong relationships with couples. However, I’m of the opinion that trust can be formed from the very words you read on this page and part of that is being up front about what this thing that I call art actually costs in a monetary value. After all, you have your spreadsheet and I firmly believe in not allowing the wedding figures to run away with you.
Having said all of that, if the price stated below is not within your budget but you love my work, please do contact me regardless as we can either have a chat about your specific requirements or I can connect you with less experienced but still super passionate associate photographers.
Come on Clauds, what do I get?
Pre-wedding consultation (at the venue if manageable)
All day coverage (normally 3 hours before the ceremony until an hour after the first dance)
Two photographers (unless it’s an intimate wedding i.e less than 60 guests)
A slideshow of the highlights of the day to keep
An online, password protected gallery
700+ fully edited and high resolution images (minimum 400+ if only one photographer)
Full license to print and share your images
The cost of this for Friday, Saturday and Sunday weddings OUTSIDE of Warwickshire is £1,900
I’m getting married on a Mon-Thurs, what is the price for this?
The cost for that would be £1,300 for the same package.
I’m getting married in Warwickshire, what is the price for this?
Warwickshire week-day (Mon-Thur) weddings are £1,000, Fri-Sun are £1,500. View my round up of the best Warwickshire wedding venues here.
Why is it cheaper if it’s in Warwickshire?
Simply because there are less travel expenses for me to consider. London weddings incur train/cab/parking costs and UK wide the mileage and petrol adds up. I’m also currently building up more of a local base as I want to be able to wake up with my son and my dog on a Sunday morning as much as I can :)
How do I book?
Let’s jump on a phone call first. I want to hear more about your plans! And you need to make sure you’ve looked through some full galleries first too. If you are 100% sure you want to spend your wedding day with me and trust me to do an incredible job for you, then I take a £500 deposit along with signed contract. This is all done via an online client portal that you can access at any point.
We are interested in having video too, can you recommend anyone?
I absolutely can. I work often alongside my video partner-in-crime, the boy wonder that is Matt of Wild Love Films. We can offer an inclusive package for the both of us depending on availability, just let me know on your enquiry.
What if you haven’t photographed at our venue before?
Moments are key in my photography and those moments come so much easier when I’m being present with your day and the relationship we have built together. I’ve photographed at venues multiple times and some venues only once and it’s made no difference to the photographic collection. However, there is a pre-wedding meeting included in your package and I’m happy to do a venue recce with you if that reduces any potential nerves! My job is to ensure you two are as confident as possible in the entire experience.
Do you still take the more posed family photographs?
Yes. Absolutely. I have a recommended list of 6-8 family photographs. I’ve photographed weddings with a list of 15, I’ve photographed weddings with nothing posed whatsoever. For me it’s more about learning what you two want and delivering that in the best way possible.
We really adore your work and your ethos but we’re on a super strict budget, is there any movement?
I hold space open for 5 bookings per year to pay at a discounted rate if the payment is made in full. I understand weddings can get expensive and I often have couples that are doing it so personally to them that they don’t have contributions to hand and are putting money into buying property or travelling. It’s taken me ALL of my 20’s to figure out money so, I get it. Just email me and let’s chat.
We are having a destination wedding, would you be interested?
Oh, 100% yes! I only take on 3-4 of these per year, but to date I have been part of weddings in Cairo, Seychelles, Bali, Thailand, New York, Rhode Island, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and New Zealand. Each destination wedding comes with coverage the day before and after the wedding included in the fee. There is an additional £600 expenses for Europe and £1,100 for worldwide.
We’ve noticed other photographers include a USB and prints in their package, is this something you can do?
Being completely open about this, my reasoning for not including these as standard is simply because I care greatly about reducing my carbon footprint, and posting heavy things out that also incur production consequences just doesn’t sit right with me. I fully believe that seeing your wedding images in a physical form is important and there are some print discounts emailed out to all guests following your wedding day. But, for now, I’m keeping everything digital.
