thailand travel photography // koh samui

When I originally arrived on Samui back in August 2016 all set to shoot the beautiful wedding of Abi & Rob, I knew instantly that my heart was stolen. Being able to travel back 6 months later is something that I am so grateful for, and it has solidified my love of the island and the culture.

January/February 2017 saw me on Samui for two weeks, the majority of that time being surrounded by what can only first be described as a menagerie of incredible men and women. This troop all share the same interest; disc golf and as part of that, the second word used to describe them would be family.

I didn’t shoot as much street photography as I had planned as I took the holiday as some time away to reflect on what I want to gain from this year. Another post to follow on that soon….

In the mean time, what I know I definitely want to do is to spend some more time with that aforementioned family in amazing parts of the world. Bring it on.

Some wonderful pictures Claudia. I particularly.like the flying Barsby, the guy in the cafe with the yellow wall, and Philo.
