Facebook has a lot to answer for with regards to it’s ability to either inspire (I want to create images like that) or petrify (I could never create an image like that), and there have been so many times that I’ve wished I could bin the whole thing altogether and go back to MySpace… no I’m joking… just speaking to people in person.
However, when it creates moments and memories like this I couldn’t be more grateful. Hannah & Tom had posted in a local group asking for photographer recommendations for the Solihull part of their celebrations and we just got chatting on messenger. Once it had emerged that part one was in Bali I definitely threw myself into making it work for all three of us to get me out there with them.
Day one Bali time mainly consisted of an incredible Catamaran boat trip out to one of the islands where we drank cocktails and lazed by the pool and I immediately felt as though I was around family; they made me feel so welcome.
Day two was their wedding day which was nothing short of perfect. The most incredible Chapel I’ve ever been able to photograph in, The Infinity Chapel at The Conrad is just sublime and their relaxed drinks at the pool bar and close family & friends dinner in the restaurant on the beach just topped the whole thing off. I was so sad to leave but glad to be seeing them again in a couple of weeks closer to home!
This blog is a mash up of my favourite images. Not chronological, just a bit free flowing. Hope you enjoy.
