Walcot Hall is an absolute dream to be able to work at. This is a visual insight into Jane & Max’s Walcot Hall wedding…
Endless sprawling grounds, stunning interior light every which way you turn and the possibility to make it totally your own. Put your stamp on it. A weekend holiday in one house with those you care the most about. My whole intention is to become part of the scenery; a guest as well as a photographer.
I feel that this approach truly propels me into being able to get those daring photographs that my couples love and this weekend was just one of those occasions where the stars aligned. A BBQ with marshmallows by a fire in the middle of the forest started off this adventure, and some strange concoction of alcohol with sunglasses in a disco finished it. My kind of party.
“Claudia Rose Carter is a genius behind the camera. She makes it seem so effortless that before you have seen her work you could not imagine that her pictures would come out so amazingly. But having had an engagement shoot with her and being astonished at how incredible she made us look when we were very nervous and uncomfortable, I knew that when we were really happy on the day, she could do no wrong – and I was right. We couldn’t be happier.”
