I know pricing is the thing everyone wants to know before they get in touch and nobody wants to have to ask about. So here it is, all of it, upfront.
There are four options. A monthly retainer for businesses that want to stay consistently visible without committing to a big shoot every time. A two hour shoot for places that just need their menu sorted. A half day for anyone who wants the fuller picture (food, interiors, team, atmosphere).
And a full day for multi-site businesses or anyone who needs a really comprehensive session.
All packages include short video content alongside stills. No licensing fees on top of any of them. Ever. The images are yours to use however you need, for as long as you need them; website, menus, social media, delivery apps, print, all of it.
And if you're based in Derbyshire there's a local rate, because supporting local is a big passion of mine. More on that below.
MY PACKAGES
Not sure which package is right for you? Just ask. I'll tell you honestly what I think makes sense, even if that means talking you out of a bigger package than you need.
Monthly Retainer
£75 / month
One hour of content per month with a mix of photo and short video. New dishes, seasonal specials, behind the scenes moments, whatever's most useful that month.
Good for: restaurants and cafés who want to stay visible on social and keep listings fresh without committing to a big shoot each time.
What's included:
Up to 1 hour on location
Mix of photo and video content
Edited and delivered within 5 days
No licensing fees
Min 6 month agreement
2 Hour Shoot
£250
The sweet spot for most independent restaurants, cafés and takeaways. Two hours covers your key dishes properly and because I work quickly and don't spend half the morning fussing with backdrops, you get a lot done in that window.
Good for: menu photography, delivery app listings, a social media content refresh.
What's included:
Up to 2 hours on location
Mix of photo and short video
Full menu coverage for most kitchens
Edited and delivered within 7 days
No licensing fees
Half Day Shoot
£500
If you want more than just food on plates — interiors, team, a bit of service atmosphere, a staged tablescape, some BTS content — a half day gives us the room to do it properly without feeling rushed.
Good for: new openings, website relaunches, brand refreshes, anywhere that needs a fuller set of content beyond just menu shots.
What's included:
Up to 4 hours on location
Food, interiors, team and atmosphere
Mix of photo and short video Staged service or tablescape if needed
Edited and delivered within 7 days
No licensing fees
Full Day Shoot
£1,000
A full day means we can really get into it (food, team, interiors, atmosphere, video content) across one or more locations without watching the clock. Best suited to businesses with multiple sites nearby or anyone who needs a really comprehensive content session.
Good for: hotel groups, multi-site restaurant brands, large-scale menu launches, full brand content days.
What's included:
Up to 8 hours on location
Food, interiors, team, atmosphere and BTS Comprehensive photo and video content
Multiple locations if needed Edited and delivered within 10 days
No licensing fees
What's always included — whatever the package
Every shoot comes with the same core commitment regardless of which package you're on. I turn up prepared, I work quickly, I respect your kitchen and your team's time, and I deliver content you can actually use.
I've been in hospitality long enough to know that a photographer who holds up service or needs three attempts at the same dish isn't a photographer you'll book again. So I don't do that.
✓ Short video content alongside stills, always included, never an extra
✓ Full commercial usage rights = no licensing fees, ever
✓ Editing and digital delivery included
✓ No studio required, I come to you
✓ Flexible scheduling around your service
✓ No over-styling or excessive food prep required
✓ Content ready for website, social, menus and delivery apps
✓ A photographer who actually understands how a kitchen works
I'm based in Melbourne, Derbyshire, and the local hospitality scene is the one I care most about. The independent restaurants, the family-run cafés, the small takeaway brands doing something brilliant… these are the places that make a food scene worth having, and they're the businesses I most want to work with.
So if you're based in Derbyshire or within roughly 20 miles this one's for you.
Local rate pricing:
2 hour shoot — £250 £200
Half day — £500 £390
Full day — £1,000 £780
The retainer stays at £75 a month because it's already built for accessibility and a number of local businesses are already on it.
No catch, no application process, no paperwork. If you're a Derbyshire food business just mention it when you get in touch and that's the rate we'll work to.
Proud to support Derbyshire's food scene
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. I much prefer to shoot food the way it's served, as in the way your chef has designed it, the way it goes out to a real customer. You don't need a food stylist, you don't need to prep anything differently. If there are dishes that need a bit of thought we'll work it out on the day.
-
No. That's genuinely one of my priorities going in. I know how kitchens work and I'm not there to disrupt yours. I work around your service, not the other way around.
-
Yes, short form video is included across all packages. Reels, TikToks, delivery app clips, whatever's actually useful to you. It's not an add-on, it's just part of how I work.
-
It varies depending on the package and how many dishes we're covering, but you'll always get a clear idea before we start. The focus is on images you'll actually use rather than volume for its own sake.
-
Yep! I cover Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham and the wider Midlands. Happy to travel further for the right project, just ask.
-
Between 5 and 10 days depending on the package. Retainer content within 5 days, longer shoots within 7 to 10.
-
The retainer is designed for exactly that; one hour a month, every month, so your content stays fresh without one big session. For the other packages get in touch and we can talk through what works for your situation.
-
Honestly because I think it's a bit of a racket for the type of work I do. You've paid for the shoot, the images are of your food, in your restaurant. They're yours. The licensing fee conversation shouldn't come as a surprise after the fact and it never will with me.
