Summer Family Photoshoot At Coombe Abbey
Coombe Abbey, located in the picturesque Coombe Country Park near Coventry, is a historic building with origins dating back to the 12th century. Originally a Cistercian monastery, it was later transformed into a grand country house. It’s known for its stunning architecture and beautiful surrounding parkland, with a Go Ape course, great playpark for children and cafe which is so popular!
Today, the abbey functions as a hotel and event venue, offering visitors the chance to experience a blend of heritage, nature, and luxury. The surrounding park features tranquil lakes, woodland, and gardens, making it a popular spot for both relaxation and exploration.
It’s the perfect spot for an outdoors family session in Warwickshire, as there is such a variety of backdrops and you can truly get lost in the meadows. I’ve photographed at least 5 different families on the land and every time the results are gorgeous.
These images of Heather, Gary and their girls were taken in mid September, which I would class as Autumn, but it still looks so summery!
