Smalls Kitchen, Derby — Meal Prep & Product Photography
In, done, out
Sam from Smalls Kitchen needed her full range photographed; overnight oats and flapjacks, everything she sells, shot for her website product pages and social media. The whole thing took 45 minutes.
That's not me cutting corners. That's what happens when a client is prepared, the food is already doing the work visually, and the photographer doesn't spend half the morning fussing with backdrops and tweezers. Sam set up what she wanted, I arrived, we worked through the range, I went home and edited and delivered. Done.
Sam put it better than I could:
"Can't rate Claudia enough. I am a fast paced person and rarely have time for a 4 hour shoot; I set up what I wanted, she arrived, took incredible photos in 1 hour, and then went home and edited and sent over. Amazing service and incredible products. 100% recommend, and will shout about her from the rooftops for all small business owners to see."
Meal prep and food delivery photography
Smalls Kitchen is a Derby based meal prep brand; the kind of small, independently run food business that's quietly brilliant at what it does and just needs its products to look as good online as they taste in real life.
It's a sector I'd love to do more work in. The meal prep and food delivery market has grown enormously; brands like Smalls Kitchen are competing for attention on websites, social media and marketplaces where the photography is doing most of the selling. A product that looks great in the kitchen but flat and unappetising on screen is leaving money on the table every single day.
If you're running a meal prep brand, a meal delivery service or a food product business and your photography isn't keeping up with your food; this is exactly what the two hour shoot was designed for. Full range, properly lit, delivered quickly, no faff.
What this kind of work looks like for bigger brands
The same approach that worked for Smalls Kitchen scales up.
If you're a meal delivery brand needing a full product range shot for a website refresh or a new menu launch; get in touch → and let's talk about what makes sense.
See pricing → — the two hour shoot at £250 covers most small to medium product ranges. For larger ranges the half day at £500 gives more room.
