10 Best Warehouse Wedding Venues in London (for Stylish, Laid‑Back Celebrations)

There’s just something about a London warehouse wedding — that perfect blend of exposed brick, open space, and city-edge atmosphere. You don’t need buckets of décor; the venue speaks for itself. Over my 12+ years photographing weddings in the city, I’ve come to love spaces that feel lived-in, intimate, and entirely personal. These ten venues are all still hosting celebrations in 2025 — and they offer the kind of flexibility you dream of.

1. Trinity Buoy Wharf

A true riverside warehouse classic, Trinity Buoy Wharf consists of two stunning spaces: The Chainstore (a bright, airy industrial hall with sliding doors to a terrace) and The Buoy Store (an atmospheric ceremony space). Both can host everything from large receptions to boat arrivals — yes, you can pull up by barge or Thames Clipper! The adjacent lighthouse offers unique portraits with city views, and the whole canal-side complex, including Container City, gives you creative freedom. Music’s allowed until 1 am, and capacity tops out around 300 seated or 600 standing.

2. Kachette

Located in a former Shoreditch ticket hall under railway arches, Kachette is a Shoreditch icon. With three connected rooms (including the newly opened Annex), it’s a versatile dry-hire space for ceremonies, dinners, and parties. Expect Victorian brickwork, industrial lighting, a station clock, and capacity of up to 180 seated or 450 standing. Licensed until midnight (with extensions available), and it includes essential AV, air conditioning, and a flexible floor plan.

3. AMP Studios

Under two Old Kent Road railway arches with a courtyard and pavilion, AMP Studios offers raw, minimalist charm. With room for 80–300 seated and 300 standing, it’s dry-hire (you choose your own food, drink, décor) and includes festoon lights, chairs, tables, a venue manager and security. Hire runs from 11 am–1 am, and costs start around £4,250.

4. Sunbeam Studios

While not a warehouse in the traditional sense, Sunbeam Studios has that same spirit — open, atmospheric, and beautifully adaptable. Set inside a Grade II listed building in West London, it blends clean white walls, soaring ceilings, and huge windows with original Edwardian detailing. The space feels modern but timeless, minimal but elegant — perfect for couples wanting a light-filled, design-forward backdrop that doesn’t need dressing up. It’s especially ideal for winter weddings, with indoor ceremony options that still feel expansive and bright.

5. Loft Studios

This West London gallery-style warehouse space Loft Studios is a chameleon — bright and sun-filled by day, ambient and atmospheric by night. It offers five interconnected studios, courtyard access, and plenty of room for getting ready, photos, and all-day flow. The mix of whitewashed brick, reclaimed wood, and steel gives it real versatility — you can keep it pared-back or layer in florals, candles, or colour.

6. Barge East Gardens & Venue

Set by the river with reclaimed industrial charm, Barge East is one of East London’s most creative spaces. You’ve got the option of marrying onboard the barge, hosting dinner in the garden space, or styling out one of the indoor arches. There’s personality in every corner — from the recycled wood panels to the homegrown veg on the menu — and it offers that ideal mix of industrial character and green touches.

7. Village Underground

If you’re looking for iconic, edgy, and totally unforgettable — Village Underground is it. A repurposed warehouse turned cultural venue in Shoreditch, it has soaring ceilings, bare brick, and old tube carriages mounted on the roof. Perfect for music lovers and late-night dancers, the space handles big energy beautifully — and gives you the bones to build something bold and different.

8. OXO2

Inside the iconic OXO Tower on the South Bank, OXO2 blends sleek design with industrial simplicity. Massive river-facing windows flood the venue with light, while polished floors and exposed pillars create an open, gallery-like space. It’s ideal if you’re planning a city-chic celebration and want that architectural wow-factor without fuss.

9. Core Clapton

This hidden gem in East London is one of the more serene spaces on the list. A former health centre turned community venue, Core Clapton has clean lines, parquet floors, white walls, and incredible natural light. It’s a warehouse that leans minimal and modern — great for couples who want a calm, grounded atmosphere they can personalise.

10. 100 Barrington

Set in a Victorian railway arch just off Brixton’s main strip, 100 Barrington feels warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. You’ve got bare brick, high ceilings, industrial beams, and a private courtyard that’s perfect for drinks receptions or late-night street food. It hits that sweet spot between gritty and refined — and the team there are incredibly helpful too.

Why warehouse spaces work so well

These venues share a few gorgeous traits:

  • Blank-canvas flexibility for food, styling, music, florals

  • Distinctive architecture — brick, wood, steel, and sky

  • Scale that adapts to ceremonies, portraits, and parties

  • That true warehouse feeling: edgy, real, emotionally resonant

They let your personalities shine — not hide behind matchy-matchy motifs.
