Mollie and Jacob chose to have both their ceremony and reception in the barn, and the styling completely transformed the space. Credit goes to Bunting and Willow, who brought everything together with soft green fabrics, natural textures, and simple but really effective floral styling.
It looked considered without feeling overly ‘done’. Think pampas, candles, draped chairs, and a setup that made the whole room feel warm and welcoming. Guests walked in and immediately started taking photos — always a good sign.
Relaxed Wedding Day Details at Stratford Park
Mollie wore a dress from Louise Victoria Bridal — classic and minimal, with just the right amount of movement. Hair by Shona Wallace and makeup by Jess Marie kept everything fresh and natural. No fuss, no over-the-top glam. Just her, looking like herself — which always photographs best.
Jacob and the groomsmen wore suits from Suit Lounge (2025: no longer operating), and again, it struck that perfect balance between formal and comfortable. Smart, without looking like they’d all been stuffed into a rental two sizes too big. That matters more than people think.
Their dog, Reggie, made a guest appearance for some photos — tail wagging, slightly confused by the attention, and absolutely stealing the show. I love when couples include their pets. It’s always chaotic for a few minutes but totally worth it.

You get those countryside views without having to trek miles out into the middle of nowhere, and the team at the hotel really know what they’re doing. The food (by Stratford Park Hotel) was spot on, served quickly and without faff — which kept everyone happy and the speeches on schedule.
The evening kicked off with music from DJ Karlton and earlier in the day Alex Norman provided the soundtrack. The dancefloor was full. The drinks were flowing. It all just worked.
Wedding Reception Styling Inspiration at Stratford Park
I have to mention the reception setup again because it really was a standout.
Long wooden tables. Crisp white plates. Crystal glassware. Sage green drapes tied to the back of every chair. It was pulled together without being matchy-matchy. Styling like this makes such a difference to how a space feels — and more importantly, how the photos come out.
Their stationery, from Bunting and Willow, tied everything together — including a fabric seating plan that was just the right mix of modern and elegant. Even the cake, made by Els Bakes, matched the feel of the room. No gimmicks. No rainbow sponge. Just simple, stylish and beautifully made.

The thing about Mollie and Jacob is that they didn’t need to put on a show. They were just fully present with each other, and with their guests. That’s what makes a wedding feel good — and what makes the photos feel real.
They didn’t spend hours disappearing for portraits. We took a bit of time to grab a few photos around the venue (with Reggie, of course) but the majority of the day was spent just letting them enjoy what they’d planned.
